Wilson Surveying Company Inc. was founded in 1981 by Rick Wilson, to provide surveying services to the development community in Greene County and the surrounding communities.

 

In that time Wilson Surveying has provided services for a wide variety of projects and clients, including services directly for municipalities as well as surveying services on municipal projects in support of design firms. Wilson Surveying is fully equipped with GPS (global positioning system) and are experts in traditional surveying practices. Our team works hard to stay on top of the latest surveying technology. The latest versions on computer assisted design are utilized by our team.

 

The staff currently numbers 11 including one professional engineer and two professional land surveyors. The technical staff is highly experienced with two members having more than 30 years in the surveying industry.

 

The firm takes a professional approach to surveying services. Land title record research is conducted to identify title issues that may affect the work or other aspects of the overall project. Records are searched for previous surveys, and any mapping available is reviewed for factors that may guide the work. A work plan is made to guide staff assigned, and to optimize the level of effort invested in the project. Field work is conducted to exceed the standards set by the Missouri Standards for Property Boundary surveys and / or the ALTA / NSPS standards. These standards are used for engineering project control as well as for property surveys.
