• High School Diploma

• College-level pre-engineering and/or engineering courses

• Proficient in Civil 3D, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• GIS experience

• Civil project design experience

• Surveying experience a plus

• Design independently with minimal direction

 Use Civil3D to create 3D models of existing and design finish-grade surfaces for new or existing sites, stormwater and sanitary sewer pipe networks, and roadway corridors.  Create rough and detailed scale plans for foundations, buildings, and sites, based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data.  Draw maps, diagrams, and profiles, using cross-sections and surveys, to represent elevations, topographical contours, and structures.  Create detailed drawings for structures, installations, and construction projects such as highways, sewage disposal systems, and detention ponds, working from sketches or notes.  Finish and duplicate drawing and construction document packages, according to required mediums and specifications for production using paper or electronic media.  Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from civil engineers to ensure they conform to design concepts.  Correlate, interpret, and modify data obtained from topographical surveys and geophysical prospecting reports.
